Resilient seated butterfly valves offer a lightweight, cost-effective, and highly reliable solution for isolating or regulating flow in water, HVAC, air, and general industrial systems. Their elastomeric seat provides bubble-tight shut-off, low operating torque, excellent corrosion resistance, and long service life-making them ideal for low-to-medium pressure applications across a wide range of industries. The SIRCA resilient-seated design enhances these advantages with several performance-driven features. The upper stem is secured by the operator, with an integrated O-ring providing lifelong lubrication, while a machined position mark ensures accurate disc alignment during installation. The one-piece body casting delivers high strength with minimal weight and is available in multiple materials for both WAFER and LUG configurations. A square-end stem fits directly into the disc-no fasteners required-allowing the disc to float and self-centre for continuous, reliable sealing. Combined with SIRCA's specially profiled disc and seat geometry, this design reduces pressure drop, minimizes operating torque, and ensures tight shut-off through reciprocal back-pressure support. The vulcanized resilient seat, bonded to a metallic support ring, is easily replaceable without special tools. Its profile eliminates the need for additional flange gaskets, simplifying installation and ensuring consistent sealing performance.
