Tongue (Failsworth) & Co, the company earned a reputation for quality and reliability in sub-contract engineering. Over the decades, the business evolved under new leadership, expanding into stainless steel pipe fittings and later incorporating as E Tongue & Co Limited. In 1995, the company entered the specialised valve market, leading to the creation of BWT Fluid Engineering. By 2004, these operations merged into G.C. Supplies UK Limited, and in 2008, the acquisition of Oppenheimer Engineering Services further strengthened their product offering with the respected NTC valve range.
